Somtimes I just have to smile, they make us laugh so often!
AND SO IT BEGINS....
(do not teach your kids this, Brandon just randomly did this and I had to capture it!!)
Just a place for family and friends to come and keep track of our family.
Somtimes I just have to smile, they make us laugh so often!

Brian and I took John to the ENT today and he was such a CHAMP! Never cried and sat still for the doctor to examine him (it's a first). The doc said that his mouth is small so everything is closer together and his tonsils are a little inflamed. She said he should not be snoring the way he does or waking up at night the way he does. She recommended a sleep study and then a review of the results and scheduling an appointment to get his tonsils and adenoids removed. It is a lot to take in and we will be doing some research but we think John is headed to surgery!
We will be getting a second opinion just to be on the safe side.

I have been trying to take some more pictures lately because I have been forgetting to take my camera with me so I don't have a lot of January pictures.
My boys!!! Washing momma's car and getting REALLY REALLY wet!

I have baby fever.... I don't know why, well actually I do. I have friends pregnant, just had babies, or even trying. I guess it is rubbing off! I just want a little girl. I know it will pass but I had to say it

This coming Wednesday I am taking my little man John to see an ENT. For the longest time now he has been snoring and I mean SNORING! You can hear him through the monitor even when it is on its lowest setting. He is also having a lot of interrupted sleep, I don't think the snoring has anything to do with it but you never know till you find out. I have been worried about this for awhile now but didn't see any sign of sleep apnea so I did not really want to deal with taking him to the doctor. Well since ECI came out and told me how hearing, speech, all that stuff in your head is all connected I decided to go ahead and make the appointment. I truly think everything is fine and this appointment will only confirm my thoughts but if not I would rather get things fixed now so John can be a happy little man!

I decided to see if Brandon could say his ABC's. We think he said more than 50% of the letters. Sorry for the dark video but it was right before bed time and the lights were off and John was watching his video, which you can hear in the background!

We started January off with a BANG! After the boys 2 year check-up we have been super busy. Going to play groups, birthdays, going back to MDO, getting new toys and trying out new places.
It has been super cold in Houston lately so we have been spending a lot of time inside and of course got cabin fever very fast so Brian and I got the boys a new toy and HAD to try it out. The weather has been getting progressively warmer (in the 40's in the afternoons)!!

Last night the boys were all about DADDY! Of course I love it and love seeing that they all can sit together and read without bickering!

The boys had their 2 year check-up on Wednesday. Things went really well and they are healthy and happy. They also got their first of two H1N1 shots.
John:
33 1/2 inches tall (25:50%)
26 pounds (25%) --the string bean!
He is going to be seen by ECI (early childhood intervention) for his speech, he is a tad behind in saying words.
His words consist of: roll, ball, more, da, bu, bull, wa, duck, brea, tuc, blac, cha... he is trying so hard but he just cant seem to finish words, he starts and stops in the middle of the word.
The doc says that he is doing great but we want to be proactive if he needs some help.
