This and That

Not much has been happening this week. The boys had been sick last week and I am pretty sure it turned into a secondary infection and they are snotty and still have cough. We also have been stuck inside!!! If you don't know the weather down here in Houston has been bad. We had alot of flooding so the ground is saturated and I did not want to get the kids out in that so we have been stuck inside for about two weeks. We are all going crazy. Today we ventured out to get haircuts for the twins and had lunch with Brian and my mom. Then the boys slept from 11:40am to 2pm... it was soooo nice.

Here are my boys....

Bad Blogger

Goodness, has it really been that long since I last posted? Life has just gone by so fast since Easter. Since my birthday and getting a Kindle 2 I just have not had enough time in the day!! If not being with the twins and trying to do stuff all day with them (we are down to ONE nap) then I am clued to my kindle reading. I have read 5 books in around 7 days. So that is my excuse for not blogging.
Not much is new on the home front though. As you saw we are down to one nap a day for the kiddos. It goes well some days and they sleep for two hours and others they will sleep only for an hour so we are still working on it and my patience. Also Brandon had croup last week and John had a cold. Needless to say that I have not had much time to do anything but tend to the little ones but they are on the mend. Yesterday since it was Earth Day we went to the Zoo with my brother and our friend Jenny and her two kids. We had a great time and the boys are getting much better around larger crowds. I do have to say that they are in their clingy mode though. They can not seem to get enough of me and I am not sure what to do about it. Any ideas? I also have been bad with taking pictures of the boys but I promise to post some recent pictures soon.

Easter weekend

We had a great Easter weekend. Brian's sister and family came in town and we spent most of the time with them, which was so fun. I have mentioned them in previous posts but they have three little girls that just love the twins and play with them till they are tuckered out.
On Thursday we went and had dinner over at Brian's parents house and just had too much fun playing in sand and in the ball pit.
On Good Friday Brian played golf and the boys and I just hung out at home for a bit then went over to the in-laws again and had dinner. The boys love holiday meals!
Saturday we went to the Pine Forest Easter Egg Hunt and celebrated my birthday with all of Brian's family (all but his sister live in town).
Easter Sunday we went to church, had lunch with my family and dinner with Brian's family.
It was a fun filled fast paced weekend!!!

A few things

The boys both have their first molars. I did not even know they came in until I just had the urge to check. So that's pretty cool that they did not have a problem with them! They both now wave as well. Brandon will do it on command or when ever you say hi or bye. John is more selective... of course.

I remember I documented Brandon's first big boo-boo so here is John's.
Last night he got a black eye and a scrap on his knee. He cried for about 5 minutes then went back to playing!

Also, we were home yesterday after a fun playgroup and they decided they wanted to take a shower! This is their first time in the shower and it was all fun until John slipped and fell :-(
but here are some cute pictures.

Advice?

What to do??

Need to get rid of night bottle, Brandon's paci's and thinking about going to one nap a day....
HELP, how do I do any of that?

Fun Fun Fun

On Saturday the family went to Ansley's 2nd birthday party and the twins had a blast! They went swimming and played their little hearts out. Here are some pictures of the boys with the cool pool... I think I might go get one for our house!
