Last day of September!

I can not believe that tomorrow is October. I am super excited it is Fall and that we get to buy Halloween costumes... I think they will be baseball or football players (so much easier than a real costume and they might actually wear it). I am excited about the Pumpkin Patch at school next week, looking forward to cooking for Thanksgiving and the boys being old enough to try all the food and going to the Nutcracker Market and most of all teach them about Christmas. I just can not believe how fast he year has past and as little as 3 months the boys will be TWO! I can't wait to see the changes they make at that age.

With all that said and for some reason all my enthusiasm about fall, here are some pictures of the last few days of September.

I walked in from my bedroom and this is what I saw... I had to capture the picture before yelling at the :-) Brandon loves mommy's makeup
How in the world did he get apple sauce on his back?
John most definitely needs a haircut
Sleeping so peaceful. Praise the Lord that one sleeps so well!
Today we went to my friend Cara's house, her son Finley is around the boys age. We had an ART playgroup which was awesome except John did not sleep well the night before and had many meltdowns!
I am guessing we will be buying one of these soon.

Here is the project we did. Paint with veggies, what a fun idea!

Just some photos

Super cute Brandon. John loves getting into clothes baskets.

We had a surprise birthday party for Nana (Brian's mom) last Friday and here are the boys in there super cute outfits... I don't know why John has a wet spot on his shirt.

Dinner

I am a picture fool these days. Guess I am making up for all the blogs I never write.
We have been having some difficulty with meal time with these boys. We know part of it is the dogs, they love to throw food to them but also they just do not seem happy in their seats anymore. Tonight we tried them at the table with plates for the first time. It was messy but we were pleasantly surprised that they did ok with it. As you can see in the picture the table is alittle tall so we are trying to figure out what to do now. We have a table for them but I am worried that gives them too much freedom to roam around at meal time.

After MDO

I have a love hate relationship with Tuesday/Thursday. I love that the boys get to go to MDO and learn to play with others and have some independence. i love that I get 5 1/2 hours to myself and get some errands done. What I don't like is that the boys come home and even though they slept at MDO they are fussy and seem tired. So this is what we do when we get home sometimes!

Hanging out on the couch:

John waving
Brandon waving

Or they don't play in their playroom and get destructive all over the house!

Choo Choo

We made a spontaneously trip to the Choo Choo Park today! We had a great time running around and going down slides in 80 degree weather. They went everywhere and it was hard to keep up with them. I can not believe they are growing up so fast.
